Martha Jette is a former newspaper and magazine editor from Hamilton, Ontario. Since her retirement in 1996, she has published six books - five of them with Saga Books of Calgary, Alberta. Martha is a prolific writer whose home site is Boomers-Write (http://www.boomers-write.com) where she invites other boomers to share their stories, articles and photos, as well as learn from her expertise as a writer and published author. She is also a regular writer for the on-line newspaper, Examiner.com, as both a local paranormal expert for Hamilton http://www.examiner.com/x-35811-Hamilton-Paranormal-Examiner and Shih Tzu expert for the Toronto area http://www.examiner.com/x-39995-Toronto-Shih-Tzu-Examiner. She also provides book reviews http://www.mjbookreviews.blogspot.com , manuscript editing http://www.boomers-write.com/profediting.html and other services upon request on a freelance basis. More personally, Martha is a mother of two grown daughers and a grandmother of two. When not writing, she enjoys painting the amazingly beautiful Nebula (forming galaxies) in the vast and mysterious universe.
